Who Can Apply (Children)

  • Children born in the UK who later become eligible
  • Children of British citizens
  • Children who have lived in the UK for a long continuous period
  • Children with Settled parents

Who Can Apply (Adults — Limited Situations)

  • Individuals with historical entitlement
  • Stateless persons
  • Certain Commonwealth cases
  • People with British nationality connections through parents or grandparents

Key Requirements (Children)

  • Proof of residence
  • Parents’ immigration status
  • Birth certificate
  • School letters
  • Evidence showing the UK is the child’s main home
