Two-Stage Application Process
Stage 1 — Endorsement Application
The first stage assesses whether the applicant qualifies as a leader or emerging leader in their field. Endorsements are issued by Home Office–approved endorsing bodies, depending on the applicant's sector.
- Whether the applicant meets Exceptional Talent or Exceptional Promise criteria
- Leadership, impact, and recognition within the field
- Independent validation through expert recommendation letters
- Strength, quality, and relevance of supporting evidence
Stage 1 Fee: £561
Stage 2 — Visa Application
Once endorsement is granted, the applicant must apply for the Global Talent visa itself. This stage assesses immigration eligibility, not professional merit.
Stage 2 Fee: £205 + IHS £1,035/year
Endorsement Fields
- Arts & Culture — visual arts, performing arts, literature, music
- Fashion Design — original collections, brand development

- Commercial metrics are missing
