Parent of a Child Student Visa

Allows one parent to accompany a child studying in the UK under a Child Student Visa. Care role must be genuine and exclusive.

Who Can Apply?

  • Parent of a child aged 4–11
  • Child must hold a valid Child Student Visa
  • Parent must intend to live with and care for the child

Restrictions

  • No work permitted
  • No study permitted (except incidental courses)
  • Cannot bring dependants

Home Office Fees

  • Visa application: £524
  • Immigration Health Surcharge: £1,035 per year
