For individuals studying English language courses only, lasting between 6 and 11 months. This is NOT a Visitor Visa — using the wrong visa for English language study is a common refusal reason.

Who Can Apply?

  • Students aged 16 or over
  • Applicants enrolled in an accredited English language course
  • Individuals intending to study English only

Restrictions

  • No work
  • No dependants
  • No access to public funds
  • No extensions, no switching to other visa routes inside the UK

  • Visa application: £214
  • No Immigration Health Surcharge required
